The Spring/Summer 2014 season was the debut of Korean label Beyond Closet at NYFW. Going against a gym backdrop, the clothes were a mix of tailored pieces offset by casual sportswear. New designer Tae Wong stuck mostly to primary colors, perhaps to further emphasize the school-like aspects of gym class. There were clean basic pieces that blended well to layer over relaxed sweats and youthful knits. Keep an eye out for the new brand; if this presentation is any indication of what the label offers, it will be versatile pieces that can be used in many different ways for the modern man.
